I can’t believe it is Day Minus Eight already. I spent much of the day fretting over this article for J-source, my exam, and scholarship applications. It’s like being in school still! I asked Paul “So, where are we going first?” just now, and neither of us could come up with anything. Labrador? P.E.I.? The original plan was to take off south ASAP, to get out of the cold, but now Unforeseen Circumstances Which Must be Kept Secret mean we will be in Ottawa on May 12, so we don’t want to stray too far afield in the in-between.

Labrador is probably rad. PEI is probably boring. You could probably find your share of characters in EITHER northern Quebec or northern Onterrible.
I’d also recommend the New England States - that might be a fun on to Ottawa detour.
If you’re going to be in Ottawa for the 12th, you should also stop by the anarchist bookfair in Montreal on the 16th.
Nothing with the word “northern” in it appeals to me in May… maybe in August, on our way back (that’s the problem with Labrador, too). I’m not bringing many sweaters with me. New England is a good idea, though. We also might explore some of the coast of NS that we haven’t seen.
You are just biased against P.E.I. because that is where Wedgie is from.
If you go to New England - you can meet James’s parents. Fun times!
Wedgie! Ha!
Fun times indeed!
I’ve got to start making some actual good content for this blog so I can advertise it more widely.
